A Big well done to our amazing group of boys that brought home the shield and won with a strong performance today against a great Gaeilscoil Nenagh opposition. Led by 5th class captains Cullen and A.J. the teamed got off to a great start with a goal from James Hyland, this set the tone of the match and the boys built on this with a goal from Cullen and points from J.J., Cullen and Fionn. It was very much a team effort and it was very clear every player was up for the win.
A big thank you to the background team of Mr Moroney and Mr Leahy and to Mr. Barrett for supporting the boys today. To all our supporters, thanks for travelling and cheering us on!!
The boys got a great welcome home from all the school and earned everyone a night off homework!! Celebrations all round!!
