In Maths recently, we have been learning all about 3D shapes. We explored their properties, identified faces, edges and vertices and had lots of fun building and investigating different shapes together. We also created colourful Art work based on our learning.
Wednesday is “Word Problem Wednesday” where we work collaboratively in our groups to solve maths problems using different problem-solving strategies. We focus on using “maths talk” to explain our thinking, share ideas and help each other work through challenges step by step. It has been fantastic to see such great teamwork and mathematical thinking in action!
