Science Week Fun in 4th Class!
We had an exciting and hands-on Science Week full of investigations, predictions and plenty of curiosity!
To explore the importance of hand hygiene, we carried out a bread experiment. Each group used slices of bread to test the effect of germs from washed and unwashed hands. The class loved making predictions about which slices would grow the most mould. We are looking forward to checking the results over the next few days!
We also took on a challenging but really fun STEM tower challenge. Using only cards, the children worked in teams to design and build different types of towers. There was fantastic teamwork, problem-solving and some very creative engineering on display. Some structures stood tall, others wobbled, but every group showed brilliant perseverance!
A huge well done to everyone for an amazing Science Week filled with learning, laughter and lots of discovery!
