Another very successful athletics day out in TUS Clonmel campus today. Our school was again represented by 30 incredible boys & girls who gave it their all. The efforts of each individual athlete has made us all so proud. Each race was highly contested by the Ardfinnan athletes. 162 girls & 175 boys competed in the 3rd & 4th class races while 148 girls & 145 boys participated in the 5th & 6th class races. With such huge fields, it is a testament to our athletes that we had athletes placed in the top 20 of each race. A huge well done to Lauren Carroll who placed 10th in her age category & received an individual medal. All individual results can be found on the Clonmel AC facebook page. Lots of experience gained - the future of athletics is looking bright in Ardfinnan!
