December has been a wonderfully busy and festive month in Fourth Class!
A very special visitor made December even more exciting, Buddy the Elf! Buddy kept a close eye on the class, popped up in funny places each morning and brought lots of laughter and festive fun to our room.
We began the month by making our clay Christmas decorations, carefully shaping them and then painting them in bright, festive colours. They turned out beautifully and added such a personal touch to our classroom. We also painted fabulous winter-themed Christmas scenes.
We enjoyed several rounds of Festive Maths Christmas Quizzes, working in teams to solve puzzles and answer tricky questions. The children put fantastic effort into their performance of Mr and Mrs Babushka. Their enthusiasm, focus and teamwork during rehearsals and on the night was fantastic.
Fourth Class did a wonderful job adding decorations to our school Christmas tree.
We were also very proud to take part in our Christmas Gymnastics Show. The students performed brilliantly, full of confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
